Please be informed that online training sessions for EBSCO Resources will be held on the following dates:

8/19/2009:   9:30 - 10:30 a.m. (CDT)   -    Overview of General Resources

8/19/2009:   1:30 - 2:30 p.m. (CDT)     -    Overview of Student and Do-it-Yourself Resources

8/27/2009:   9:30 - 10:30 a.m. (CDT)   -    Overview of General Resources

8/27/2009:   1:30 - 2:30 p.m. (CDT)     -    Overview of Student and Do-it-Yourself Resources

Session Descriptions

Overview of General Resources:
A one-hour online session providing an overview of resources available for general research for library patrons. Some of the online resources to be reviewed include databases for general, business or academic research; health and wellness reference of conditions, diseases and drugs; as well as online access to a variety of major newspapers, television and radio news transcripts. A review of Career Library for career and college research will also be covered.

Overview of Student and Do-It-Yourself Resources:
A one-hour online session providing an overview of research resources available from EBSCO for students in grades K-12. Some of the online resources to be reviewed include databases on literary works and authors; historical reference information and images; science reference topics including science projects as well as a database on controversial topics. A review of the "how-to" resources available including: automobile repair, small engine repair, home improvement as well as bobbies and crafts projects.

If you would like to register for one of the training sessions, please click on the following link and complete the registration form.   http://support.ebsco.com/customtraining.

After you have completed form, EBSCO will send you an email with the connection information that is needed for the online session.
