Hi Everyone,
Recently, most of your libraries participated in an MLS group purchase of EBSCO, Gale, and Grolier databases. The committee is now asking what kind of training you and/or your staff would like in order to utilize and teach these great resources to your patrons.
Please respond by 11/4 letting me know what type of training you'd like to see, including in what delivery format. Lindsay--is there a better place to get this info to NWYS libraries? If so, would you mind forwarding?
While the full list of resources made available by the group purchase is much more extensive, I have pulled out a few and listed below those that are best suited to children and/or teens.
Homework/Student Help
· Grolier Lands & People
· Kids InfoBits (Gale)
· Middle Search Plus (Ebsco)
· Opposing Viewpoints (Gale)
· Points of View Reference Center (Ebsco)
· Student Resource Center Gold (Gale)
· Worldbook Student
MAS Ultra - School Edition (Ebsco)
