[Youthnet] Low July Statistics

Sorry, not us. Was there anything special happening somewhere else in your
community? Park District classes, summer weekend community events? Did you
offer the same amount of programming on nights and weekends in July that you
did in June? We offer weekly events in the evening and on the weekends in
July and it helps us to sustain the momentum begun in July. We also saved a
really big program for the beginning of July, after the 4th, to re-energize
interest. We also, do not cut off registration until the end of July. We
have found that there are some of our patrons who go out of town right after
school ends for several weeks. They come back in July and are then ready to
do summer reading. Hope this helps!

Subject: [Youthnet] Low July Statistics

Hi Everyone,

For some strange reason our July circ and program statistics were
surprisingly low. This was the case for the entire library- not just
YS. Our June stats were up so I'm wondering what could have caused
the low July numbers. Did any of you experience something similar this
year?
